At Lighthouse Puzzles, we exclusively make wooden jigsaw puzzles. Our wooden puzzles aren’t mass-produced in a factory, they’re hand-crafted in small batches at our small Michigan workshop. Each Piece is precision-cut to create a seamless fit, making the experience of assembling a wooden jigsaw puzzle both challenging and rewarding.

We create collector’s quality wooden jigsaw puzzles. Our process contains dozens of steps, from selecting premium hardwood boards to quality checking each piece before it’s boxed up.

Each piece is cut from thick, ¼” maple hardwood, and feels great in your hand. The wood is sanded and finished with a matte sheen, which is perfect for puzzling in the daylight or under a lamp in the evening (we all know how frustrating a glossy puzzle can sometimes be). Designed to last for generations, perfect for gifting or family traditions.

This puzzle is a work of art, both the artwork and the pieces. Love this puzzle!!

We just found these puzzles at a craft show in town. This made the perfect gift, but we had to pick up one for ourselves too. It was fun from the start, finding the cute pieces shaped like animals. Along the way we kept finding more secret images throughout the puzzle. At the end we found a secret we didn't realize was in it. Loved this so much!! Wooden Jigsaw Puzzle Sizes for Every Skill Level

We offer two sizes of wooden puzzles. Our small-size puzzles are around 6” square and contain 60-90 pieces. They’re a great choice when you need a small win, or just want to spend some time focusing on something other than the hustle and bustle of your day. 

Our large puzzles are around 12” x 18” and are about 500 pieces. We like to compare the difficulty of these to a 1,000-piece cardboard puzzle. Everyone has a different speed of puzzling, but it’s safe to say that these probably can’t be completed in a single sitting.
